99 Points to Ponder

Happy Monday. I found this list on 160 Acre Woods' blog and thought it was a fun way to start the week.

At heart I'm adventurer. In reality I'm a procrastinator. There are so many things I want to do and places I'd like to visit. But, I get comfortable with the status quo. As someone reminded me the other day: "You know, you're middle-aged." (I am? How did that happen?) I just don't want to let the years pass and watch the door close on "someday."

Luckily, according to this arbitrary list I'm doing OK. (My "yes" answers are in green.) But there are still so many adventures to be had.

Kelli, I think you did better than me. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who has bounced a check :) The first and only check I've bounced was the first one I wrote to our church after we moved here. Talk about embarassing! Chalk it up to my amazing math skills. I had added the amount of our house payment rather than deducted it so had no idea I was bouncing our check to the church. Good grief :)

This was great!!! Loved it!

In the next ten years, I hope to see the Grand Canyon! That's more feasible than going to Afrcia or the Holy Lands--both dreams!! The good Lord willing....maybe one day!

You've accomplished so many of these!! Wow...and you're only middle aged (hee hee!!)! By the time you're 80, there's no telling what you will have accomplished with God's blessings! I do Know this...in His timing, you WILL publish a book! And, I'm going to buy a copy and get you to autograph it!!

Love ya,
Susan

Cool list. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a busy day ahead of me...just now leaving the house on my way to making a quilt while skydiving off the Eiffel Tower in the rain...which will no doubt lead to donating blood or plasma. -Dan

This was fun.....
You are doing great, I can answer 58 things I've done. You have a lot of years to catch up, however, and that makes it terrific on your part.
The book part , I have the same thoughts as runner mom, only with the autograph I want a not from you on the first page.
Lvoe you , and am looking foward to Thursday afternoon.
Blessings and Love.....Peggy

Kelli,

Your first paragraph describes me all-too-well. I overcame this adventurer-procrastinator dynamic recently in running a marathon. I reached a point where I said to myself, "You're not getting any younger. There is never a perfectly convenient time to do any major life-goal. There is no time like the present. You must make it happen!"

Great blog entry!
